The Old Victory Groves Packing House Inc., in historic Rockledge, Fl. This beautiful jewel sits amidst oblivion on 2275 US-1 in Rockledge. Known as the Marion S. Whaley Citrus Packing House at one time, and then as the Sullivan Brothers Victory Groves Citrus Packing House; this structure is now a Historic Place on the National Register. It is said the glorious or significant period for this business was between 1925 and 1949.
Three days ago, I had to pull over and document such jewel for posterity.
My passion for photography was born in the early eighties, in my native Cuba. My uncle loved photography and, I distinctly remember that day at Cojimar beach, when I took my first shots with his camera for the first time. ~The rest is history. I love taking photos of nearly everything, everywhere. My favorite camera is that which I have at the moment the inspiration comes. The camera is an instrument.
